It is quite easy to apply flea power to your
pet if you have found a suitable product to
use. Applying the powder needs to be carried
out with caution as it will not be good for
your pet if they ingest the power. The best
way to try to do this is to brush the powder
into your pet?s fur so it will minimize the
amount of powder that can be ingested.
When you are
applying the powder make sure you do so
sparingly as this will reduce the amount of
excess powder left for your pet to ingest.
The best way to do this is to sprinkle the
powder onto your pet's fur by brushing
backwards with your hand or comb. You should
sprinkle the powder if you can onto the base
of the hairs concentrating on the belly,
back and neck.
Once you have applied the powder it is
advisable to put your pet out in the garden
for a while so that any fleas can drop off
and they will not be in your house. You may
then wish to comb your pet to try and remove
as many fleas as you can that are left
behind. This treatment can be carried out as
often as you feel necessary.
