Dealing With Cat Fleas

Cat fleas are the most common type of fleas that are found on pets and in households today, cat fleas believe it or not can even be found on dogs. Cat fleas may occasionally be found on your pet rabbit if you have other pets that have an infestation of fleas. If you find your rabbit or other pets do have fleas then there are many products that are available to buy that will get shot of them.

Cat fleas can also bring other kinds of disease as cat fleas can carry the larval stage of tapeworms. Cats may become infected with tape worms if they happen to eat the fleas when grooming themselves.

Adult cat fleas like to live on cat blood, if young kittens catch cat fleas then the fleas may make the kittens weak and this can lead to the kittens getting anemia and possibly even death.

Dagos and cats also have the possibility to become allergic to flea bites, if this is the case then this will cause your pet to scratch an awful lot this could lead to your pet developing skin disease.

On human's fleas leave itchy bites on the ankles, if you get these then you will need to check your pet for fleas and treat them quickly.

Following simple steps will keep fleas at bay and hopefully you will not get to a stage where you have an infestation.
